sometimes i just want to hate beyoncé musically, but then she makes a tune like this. with all the background elements, the funky bass groove, the harmonious back-up vocals, the funny little synth stuff, the horns and the five or six key changes, you can’t help but enjoy this song. i really don’t like her recent work, but damn the old school vibe to this makes me want to listen to it over and over again.
